Surveys is a free online tool that helps you hear directly from customers. It’s easy to set up and configure to show discreetly on your site or send as a separate link. 

Hotjar offers a variety of surveys that align with your goals, such as concept test surveys for validating your ideas with target users, exit-intent surveys for identifying the real reasons for drop-offs, and product feedback surveys for uncovering new opportunities to improve your products continuously.

Click 'New survey' on your Surveys page to start crafting your first-ever (or next) survey in Hotjar. As of writing, you now have three ways to build a survey:

• With AI: let AI generate questions for you based on the goal you set at the beginning

• Using our good old templates: select the most suitable survey type for you from our template gallery

• From scratch: customize every part of the survey if you can’t find what you need from our current set of templates
